Eligibility Requirements for the CRC

The CRC Introductory Student Program is tailored to students with less than 6 months of recovery time that are dedicated to working towards and establishing sustained recovery.
  • Currently applying to Mississippi State University or currently enrolled student at Mississippi State University
  • A Dedication to working towards and Establishing Sustained Recovery
  • Interview with CRC Faculty and Staff
  • Active Participation in a Twelve-Step Recovery Program or Equivalent Recovery Program
  • Commitment to Service
  • Commitment to CRC Introductory Program Requirements

Students accepted into the scholarship student program are asked to fill out a Collegiate Recovery Community Introductory Application & Student Packet which consists of: CRC Program Goals, Student Requirements & Expectations, Honor Statement, Scholarship Agreement Form, Photo Release Form, Referral to DSS Form, and Parent Information. This is in order to provide students the guidelines of the Collegiate Recovery Community and ensure a student's success within the program.

The CRC Scholarship Student Program is tailored to students with 6 months (or more) of recovery time. Scholarship students are eligible to receive full benefits of the CRC program.
  • Currently applying to Mississippi State University or currently enrolled student at Mississippi State University
  • Complete and Continuous Abstinence of Six (6) months from Alcohol and other Drugs and/or all Process Addictions
  • Interview with CRC Faculty, Staff, and Students
  • Active Participation in a Twelve-Step Recovery Program or Equivalent Recovery Program
  • Commitment to Service
  • Commitment to CRC Scholarship Student Program Requirements
