Back to School Social
At the beginning of each semester students get together in order to fellowship and get the semester kicked off in the right direction. This allows students who haven't seen each other over break to reconnect, and allows new students to acclimate to the community in a laid-back setting.
Fall and Spring Retreat
Each Spring & Fall Semester the Collegiate Recovery Community provides students with the opportunity to network and fellowship with students from other CRC's around the Southeast. The Retreat’s consist of events and activities that promote teambuilding and fellowship among MSU students, and other universities. Students leave refreshed and recharged after a weekend filled with the forging of new friendships and the renewal of old ones.
During the Fall semester the Collegiate Recovery Community hosts a Parent's Weekend for the parents of our students to come down to Starkville and see what the CRC is all about. The weekend is centered on what the CRC provides to students, how parents can best support their students in recovery and academics, as well as a formal dinner showcasing our students' many successes.
Graduating from an SEC school and being in recovery is a big deal. We like to celebrate our students' academic success. At the end of each semester we get together in order to congratulate, fellowship, and reminisce with one another.
